I want my students to be on top of the mountain with me… not stuck in any of the clouds. The two on the left represent the past (i.e. the white represents being stuck in a time when things were better like when your parents were still together, grandma was still alive, and school had recess and naptime, etc. whereas the pink being stuck in a time when things were awful because of something that happened or was said to you). And the two clouds on the right represent being stuck in the future (i.e. the blue represents a time when you’ll finally allow yourself to be happy… like when you get your driver’s license, graduate, move out of your home, etc. while the yellow cloud represents being stuck like a deer in the headlights because you’re afraid of what the future might hold). In short, people who are stuck in the past two clouds, they often experience anger and frustration. Those who are stuck in the two future clouds experience anxiety and worry.
NOTE: There is also a couch in front of the mountain for students who need to stretch out during homework time.
